Palmeraie House is a traditional Berber house situated at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains in southern Morocco.  It is a family run guesthouse and restaurant.  Doreen and Rachid have built up an excellent reputation for a warm welcome and a true Moroccan experience. 

Palmeraie House is 7km from the town of Tinghir. It is easy to find on the road between Tinghir and the Todra Gorge. The closest airport is at Ouarzazate. This is a 2 hour drive from Tinghir.

The road from Ouarzazate to Tinghir is referred to as the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs. The magnificent scenery and Berber architecture are a wonderful introduction to this area of Morocco. Marrakech airport is a further 4 hour drive from Ouarzazate. This is a spectacular drive taking you across the High Atlas by way of the Tizi-n-Tichka pass.
